Overview

In addition to three shears, two plasmas, and a fiber laser, Majac also has saws capable of cutting up to 48-foot long sticks of tube or structural steel through ½ inch.  We recently purchased a 140 ton Piranha Ironworker.   

The equipment is all available to help our customers enhance value to steel.

Majac is a representative for Ratner Steel, which is a Full-Line Service Center for Carbon Steel Sheet / Plate.

Laser

• Wysong MVD 6000 Watt Fiber W 80" x 160" Bed

We program / nest lasers with Radan for optimum sheet yield and cut quality.
Common line cutting is available.

 

Laser Cutting Capacity

Steel cutting on nitrogen  0.020" to .1875"
Steel cutting on oxygen 0.020" to 0.750"
Stainless steel cutting on nitrogen 0.020" to 0.500"
Aluminum on nitrogen 0.020" to 0.375" (with exceptional tolerances - typically +/- .010 or LESS)
